Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Valesquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Ing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valesquez comes to the cage accompanied by "Hurt You" Chase and Status. Ing is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sasha - Xpander. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fabricio Valesquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brett Ing! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ing throws a jab but it's blocked by Valesquez. Valesquez jabs at Ing's body. Valesquez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ing sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Valesquez somewhat. Valesquez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Ing is not content to let Valesquez control the position. Valesquez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Valesquez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Valesquez throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Valesquez stops Ing from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice strikes from Valesquez there. Valesquez passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ing! Valesquez cracks Ing with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Valesquez with the ground and pound from mount. Valesquez throwing strikes but Ing uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Ing wants to get back to his feet.
Valesquez is pressing down on Ing's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ing is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valesquez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ing defending well though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Valesquez is trying to control. Ing wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ing regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Valesquez. Valesquez wants to pass the guard but Ing is keeping the position. Valesquez slips nicely into half guard. Valesquez is looking for a kimura but Ing is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Valesquez to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valesquez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Valesquez prevents Ing from standing back up.
Valesquez is trying to control. Ing wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Valesquez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ing wants to get back to his feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ing connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. A solid leg kick lands there for Ing.
Ing lands a jab to Valesquez's midsection. Valesquez drops his hands momentarily and Ing takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Valesquez staying out of range there. Valesquez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ing pinned against the cage. Ing gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ing throws a nice inside leg kick. Valesquez is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ing throws a front kick that sends Valesquez stumbling back into the cage. Ing scores with a crisp jab that stopped Valesquez in his tracks.
It looks like Fabricio Valesquez has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ing's corner calls for a 1-2. Ing obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Valesquez drops his hands momentarily and Ing takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Jab from Ing. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ing.
Ing lands a right hook to the body.
Decent striking displayed by Ing there. Oooh a lovely combination from Ing sends Valesquez down but not out. Ing dives into side control looking to finish.
Valesquez is rocked! Ing stands up and beckons Valesquez to his feet. Oh Valesquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Valesquez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Valesquez seems to have got his legs back now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ing throws a right hand that Valesquez ducks under and follows up with a left that Valesquez also avoids with ease. Ing lands a jab to the nose. Ing fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Valesquez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brett Ing dominated that round. The cut man is working on Fabricio Valesquez's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ing lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Valesquez shoots in for a takedown but Ing shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ing throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Ing looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Valesquez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ing swinging wilding here.
Ing goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Ing throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Valesquez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Ing scores with a decent looking hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Ing throws a shot to the body.
Ing darts in and out, connecting with a jab. No joy there for Ing, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ing misses with a two punch combination.
Valesquez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ing. A decent looking cross lands there for Ing. Ing looks to throw the jab but Valesquez is out of range. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Valesquez misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ing fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Valesquez. Ing lands with a thumping leg kick.
Valesquez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ing but Ing pushes him off and we're back to square one. Brett Ing is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Valesquez takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Fabricio Valesquez's cut is getting worse. Ing lands an overhand right. Valesquez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Ing misses with a looping right. Brett Ing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ing misses with a straight left. Ing throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Valesquez slips under a jab from Ing. Valesquez takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Valesquez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ing!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ing wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Valesquez defending well as Ing loads up on a big left hand. Ing connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valesquez moves forwards but Ing connects with a nice, crisp jab. Ing throws a nice looking combination but Valesquez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ing has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ing misses with a straight left. A nice leg kick lands there from Ing. Ing stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Valesquez is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. A leg kick checked by Ing. Ing bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Valesquez's head backwards. A slow jab from Ing misses its intended target. Valesquez shoots for a takedown but Ing saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabricio Valesquez. That's going to take a lot out of him. A jab from Ing finds it's way through Valesquez's defenses. Valesquez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Fabricio Valesquez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A solid leg kick lands there for Ing.
Ing throws a nice inside leg kick. Ing connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Ing listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Ing throws a sloppy body shot
and Valesquez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ing! Valesquez looking to finish with strikes here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Valesquez there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Valesquez throws a sloppy strike and Ing uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Ing has ended up in Valesquez's guard.
Valesquez throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Valesquez has his foot on Ing's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ing works his way back into a safe position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ing leaves Valesquez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ing blocks a head kick by Valesquez.
Ing misses with a double jab.
Ing misses with an uppercut. Valesquez saw that one coming. Ing throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Ing tests Valesquez's chin there with a solid looking shot. Ing lands with a shot to the body. Ing looks to land a combination. Valesquez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A jab from Ing finds it's way through Valesquez's defenses. Valesquez looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Ing throws a body punch but Valesquez moves out of range. Valesquez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ing. Ing takes a swing at Valesquez's ribcage but misses. Ing is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brett Ing showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Fabricio Valesquez's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Valesquez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ing gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Valesquez to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ing kicks Valesquez off and gets to his feet. Ing lands with a right hand. Valesquez takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Valesquez avoids the head kick by Ing.
Nice jab there from Ing. Valesquez gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Valesquez misses with the body kick letting Ing counter with a right hand. Valesquez misses with a takedown and Ing counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ing sizes up Valesquez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Ing fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Valesquez takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ing lands with an overhand left. Valesquez ducks under a wild hook from Ing. Ing misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ing looks to land a combination but Valesquez avoids it well. Ing misses with an uppercut. Valesquez shoots in for a takedown but Ing shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabricio Valesquez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ing looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A slow jab from Ing misses its intended target. Valesquez moves away from the strike by Ing. Valesquez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Valesquez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Valesquez unloads with some shots from mount but Ing bucks and avoids them well.
Fabricio Valesquez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ing is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Valesquez throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Ing really wants to buck Valesquez off and get back to his feet. Valesquez misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Valesquez has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ing's face.
Valesquez wants to control the pace but Ing is squirming around nicely.

Ing in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Ing manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Ing, under a barage of strikes from Valesquez.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ing is trying to stand.

Valesquez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Valesquez thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ing to regain full guard. Fabricio Valesquez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Valesquez is looking to work some ground and pound but Ing has wrist control.
And that's the end of the fight! Brett Ing comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ing winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
