Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chan Sung Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tre Tanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jung might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Unbeaten joe Hade. Tre Tanks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tre Tanks!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jung throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tanks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Tanks misses with a takedown attempt - Jung sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jung throws a right hand that Tanks ducks under and follows up with a left that Tanks also avoids with ease.
No joy there for Jung, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tanks fails to land the takedown.
Chan Sung Jung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tre Tanks.
Tanks closes the distance and clinches up with Jung, looking for a takedown. Tanks pushes Jung against the cage but Jung circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tanks shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jung but Jung pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tanks sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jung's guard.
Jung is looking for a sweep. Tanks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Tanks is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jung sees it coming and defends easily.

Tanks looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tanks is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jung is just riding it out for now. Tanks eventually gives up the hold.
Jung wants to get back to his feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jung lands with an uppercut that bounces Tanks off the cage and back into rage.

Horrible takedown by Tanks or perhaps it was just good defense by Jung which made him look bad.

Tanks shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jung sprawls well. Jung wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tanks gets slowly back to his feet.

Tanks dives in and grabs Jung's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jung pushes down on Tanks's head and hops out.

Jung connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Chan Sung Jung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tanks feints and as Jung raises his hands in defense, Tanks changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tanks passes Jung's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Tanks is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jung doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tanks.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tanks has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jung defend it? Tanks steps over the head and cranks it - Jung is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Tanks!
