The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lobe as he jumps to the side.

Doh lands a left and a right that send Lobe crashing to the mat, dazed. Doh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Brian Lobe has been cut.

Lobe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lobe uses his free foot to push down on Doh's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Doh.

Lobe seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Doh is holding on tight.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Doh is desperately trying to improve his position but Lobe has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Doh is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Lobe has taken his back.

Lobe has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Doh! Can he survive? No! He's out! Lobe gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
