Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jew Doh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brian Lobe! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lobe as he jumps to the side. Doh lands a left and a right that send Lobe crashing to the mat, dazed. Doh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Brian Lobe has been cut. Lobe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lobe trying to control from half guard but Doh is working away. Doh punching from the bottom.
Doh wants to get back to full guard. Doh tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Lobe uses his free foot to push down on Doh's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Doh. Lobe content just to control the position here. Doh keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Doh prevents Lobe from taking his back. Lobe is going olschool here, as he tries to force Doh to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Doh shrugs it off. Doh is working to get back to half guard.

Lobe trying to control but he's not successful this time. Lobe seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Doh is holding on tight.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Doh is desperately trying to improve his position but Lobe has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Doh is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Lobe has taken his back.
Lobe has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Doh! Can he survive? No! He's out! Lobe gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brian Lobe!
