Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Belgian Maniac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey De Andreas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Andreas has chosen Free Bird by Leonard Skynard as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Andreas throws a series of punches but Maniac avoids them all with ease.
Maniac keeps the fight on the outside.
De Andreas misses with a double jab.
De Andreas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Maniac.
A right-left combo lands from De Andreas.
It looks like Belgian Maniac has been cut.
A punch lands to the side of De Andreas 's head but he takes it in his stride.
De Andreas tries to clinch there but Maniac circles away.
Maniac moves in looking to clinch but De Andreas pushes him off.
De Andreas takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
De Andreas connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Maniac fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Maniac fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with De Andreas, pushing him back against the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

De Andreas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maniac moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maniac feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Maniac has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
