The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore moves forwards but Walker connects with a nice, crisp jab. Walker shoots for a takedown but Moore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Walker scores a takedown into full mount! Poor strikes thrown by Walker there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Walker fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Walker breaks from Moore's wrist control and lands an elbow. Moore is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Moore wants to control but Walker is having none of it. Walker thowing shots but they're missing. A nice elbow there by Walker. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Walker cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Moore is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Walker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moore on the ground. Walker thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Moore tries to lock up and control but Walker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Moore blocking the ground and pound. Walker lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Moore hang on? Moore can't escape the position.
Moore gets back to half guard. Walker throws a strike but Moore avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Walker connects with a couple of short punches. Moore utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Walker stands up over Moore, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Moore pushes Walker off and scrambles back to his feet.
Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Moore was covering up waiting for the punch and Walker finishes the takedown easily into guard. Walker scoring with some ground and pound. Walker throwing strikes but missing. Walker postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Walker scores a takedown into full mount! Moore is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Walker putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Moore avoids a strike by Walker and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Walker's guard! Fantastic escape!
Moore stands up from guard. Let's bang! Walker takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Walker tries for a takedown but Moore sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Walker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moore sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Walker somewhat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore wants to clinch up but Walker keeps it at a distance. Walker shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Walker with the ground and pound but Moore uses the opportunity to regain guard. Walker landing some decent shots from guard. Moore pulls Walker in close to prevent any damage. Walker scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker thows a big elbow that misses. Moore is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Moore scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Walker tries to clinch up. Walker misses with a takedown attempt - Moore sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick misses from Moore. Walker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moore tries to avoid it but Walker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Moore leaves Walker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Walker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Moore defends it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center. Moore is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Walker's half guard. Moore escapes and gets back to his feet. An inside leg kick lands from Moore. Walker with a poor takedown and Moore counters with an outside leg kick.
Moore is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Walker. Walker takes a swing at Moore's ribcage but misses. Walker doesn't succeed with the takedown and Moore counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moore. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alonzo Moore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Walker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore stands up from mount. Strange move. Walker looks for a takedown but Moore sprawls well. Moore fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Walker sprawls well initially but Moore persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Moore missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Walker is trying to stand up here but Moore is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore wants to free his trapped foot but Walker is holding on for dear life with his legs. Moore decides to stand and escape the position. Walker moves out of range as Moore throws a body kick.
Tom Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Moore's head backwards. Walker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Moore jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Walker with a poor takedown and Moore counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Walker's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moore wants to get up but he can't break Walker's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore prevents Walker from getting back to his feet. Moore is looking to stand up but Walker won't let him. Moore thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Moore wants to pass the guard but Walker is keeping the position. Walker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Walker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walker tries to get out of the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moore decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Walker, up you get!
And that's the end of the fight! Alonzo Moore comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Moore has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
