Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miles LeVere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LeVere comes into the arena with pants on the ground (remix) blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeVere slips under a jab.
LeVere fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hansen avoids it really well and circles away.
Hansen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and LeVere decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hansen's guard.
Hansen is looking for a triangle but LeVere pushes his legs off easily.
LeVere trying to control but Hansen is working from the bottom.
Hansen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Hansen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
LeVere tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Hansen drops an elbow to the side of LeVere's head.

LeVere avoids a punch combination nicely.
Miles LeVere is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
LeVere throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hansen's waist but Hansen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing LeVere off to one side.
LeVere tries to close the distance and clinch but Hansen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Let's hope that Hansen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Hansen controls LeVere momentarily but LeVere frees himself.
Hansen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control LeVere kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
LeVere wants to control from the top but Hansen keeps moving.
LeVere decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
LeVere slaps away a takedown attempt from Hansen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
LeVere stuffs the takedown.
Miles LeVere has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Hansen.

Hansen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and LeVere counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by LeVere.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LeVere drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hansen dives on top into guard.
LeVere is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hansen is aware though and is defending well.
Hansen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Hansen gets to his feet - LeVere follows without any prompting.

and LeVere counters with a body kick that stops Hansen in his tracks momentarily.

LeVere shoots in looking for a takedown. Hansen tries to sprawl out of it but LeVere keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hansen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hansen.

Hansen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hansen circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends LeVere tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Hansen wins by KO!
