Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cassius Marcellus Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Doughty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clay tries to clinch there but Doughty circles away.
Clay moves in looking to clinch but Doughty pushes him off. Clay takes a swing at Doughty's ribcage but misses. Clay is looking to clinch. Doughty keeps the fight on the outside. A head kick from Doughty lands but Clay takes it in his stride. Doughty rushes Clay and presses him up against the cage. Doughty wants to get back to striking at distance but Clay won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doughty working hard to break the clinch. Doughty breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Doughty gets a clinch. Doughty tries to break the clinch but Clay is controlling the position. A frustrated look appears on Doughty's face as he tries to break the clinch. Clay is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doughty's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Doughty circles away from the clinch attempt and Doughty makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Clay really felt that one! Clay is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. A head kick misses from Doughty. A head kick by Clay misses and Doughty counters with a nice body kick.
Clay shoots in and drives through. Doughty sprawls well. Clay lands a jab-cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doughty circles away from the clinch attempt and Doughty counters with a nice body kick. Doughty gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Doughty breaks from the clinch.

Clay has Doughty pressed against the cage, preventing Doughty from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Doughty's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Drew Doughty dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Clay tries to clinch but fails miserably and Doughty counters with a big head kick but Clay shrugs it off. Cassius Marcellus Clay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clay tries to clinch up and Doughty moves into the clinch.

Clay tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Doughty counters with a two punch combo. Doughty is breathing heavily. Clay connects with a high kick. Doughty looks to land a combination but Clay avoids it well. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Doughty, right into the meat.
Doughty misses with a kick to the body and Clay counters with a nice body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Cassius Marcellus Clay will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Doughty pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Doughty tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Clay dives in and grabs Doughty's left leg, looking for a takedown. Doughty pushes down on Clay's head and hops out. Doughty lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Clay punishes Doughty's body with a nice straight punch. Clay fails with a takedown attempt. Clay will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Doughty rushes Clay and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Doughty has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Doughty is looking to break free of the clinch but Clay has double underhooks.
And that's the end of the fight! Drew Doughty comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Doughty has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
