Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roddy Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaska Torttu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaska Torttu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torttu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Torttu pushes Piper away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Piper gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Torttu looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Piper has picked Torttu up and slammed him! Torttu can't keep hold of the triangle and Piper manages to pass to side control!

That was a close second round but I would say that Roddy Piper will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Torttu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Piper with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Torttu swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Piper is now in Torttu's guard. A big mistake from Torttu there, giving up the dominant position!

Torttu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Torttu is just content to waste time from the top position. Piper takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

I would just about give that final round to Jaska Torttu.
