Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Winston Churchill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Benno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harry Benno is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Winston Churchill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Benno! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benno looks for a takedown but Churchill sprawls well. Benno looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Benno shoots in but no luck this time. Benno fails to land the takedown. Winston Churchill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Benno. Benno closes the distance and pushes Churchill back into the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Benno throws an elbow but misses. Benno misses with an elbow over the top. A frustrated look appears on Churchill's face as he tries to break the clinch. Churchill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Benno shoots in for a double leg but Churchill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Churchill throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Benno. A left and a right from Churchill both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Harry Benno has been cut. Churchill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Benno is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Churchill misses with a jab, cross combination.
Harry Benno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Benno falls off balance throwing a combination
and Churchill counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Benno trying to control from the bottom.

Churchill tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Benno. Benno moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Benno is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Benno keeping moving, preventing Churchill from controlling successfully. Churchill advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Benno is trying to improve his position. Benno regains half guard. Benno punching from the bottom.

Benno is staying active underneath Churchill, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Benno looking for submissions off his back. Benno flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benno has hold of Churchill's hands but Churchill slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Churchill scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Churchill closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Benno to the mat! Benno manages to get full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Benno is adopting a defensive guard. Churchill preventing the sweep. Benno working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Churchill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Churchill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Benno working a defensive guard here.
Benno lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Churchill!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Benno cracks Churchill with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Benno goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Churchill is on top in guard.
Churchill has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Benno tries to land a sweep but no joy. Benno looks gassed! Benno throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Benno looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Winston Churchill dominated that round. The cut man is working on Harry Benno's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Benno tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Churchill counters with a lovely straight right hand! Benno clinches but Churchill breaks the clinch and Benno takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Churchill doesn't succeed with the takedown and Benno decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Churchill's guard. Benno slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Benno wants to control from the top but Churchill keeps moving. Benno pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Churchill is keeping the position for now. Benno slips nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Churchill keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Benno is looking to take a break and control but Churchill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Benno moves nicely into side control. Churchill takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Benno fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Benno decides to take the fight back to the feet. Benno darts in trying to clinch and Churchill counters with a leg kick. Benno shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Churchill but Churchill pushes him off and we're back to square one. Churchill throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Benno tries to clinch but Churchill moves away letting Churchill counter with a right hand. Churchill displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Benno. Churchill circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Benno looks to clinch and Churchill makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Benno tries to clinch but fails miserably and Churchill counters with a left and a right that stings Benno. Benno tries to clinch and Benno takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A nice leg kick lands there from Churchill. No luck for Benno with that takedown attempt. Winston Churchill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Benno. No luck with that takedown attempt from Benno. Benno takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Benno has his takedown stuffed and Churchill counters with a nice double leg into guard. Benno throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Benno wants to stand but Churchill is controlling the position. Benno controls Churchill momentarily but Churchill frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Benno is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Churchill is controlling him. Benno trying to keep a closed guard but Churchill is proving a slippery customer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Churchill circles away from the clinch attempt.
Churchill throws a series of punches but Benno moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Harry Benno will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Harry Benno's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Churchill circles away from the clinch attempt and Churchill cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Benno showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Churchill.
Churchill throws out a powerful jab. Churchill thows a body shot but no joy. Churchill throws a sloppy head kick and Benno counters with a single leg into guard. Churchill didn't expect that. Benno showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Benno stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Churchill swivels though and keeps the full guard. Benno content to stall in guard here. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Churchill is looking to stand up but Benno isn't so interested in that idea. Benno passes easily into side control. Nice work. Benno thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. An elbow from Benno crashes against the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Benno misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Benno is looking to take a break and control but Churchill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Benno misses with the ground and pound. Benno misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Benno creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Churchill sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Churchill dodges the ground and pound from Benno.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Benno fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Benno closes the distance and pushes Churchill back into the cage. Benno gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Churchill breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benno tries to clinch but Churchill is having none of it. Benno fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Benno tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Churchill swivels and escapes. Winston Churchill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Benno. Churchill connects with a nice looking jab.
Churchill comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Benno tries to clinch but Churchill moves away and Churchill counters with a series of strikes. Benno will be more careful next time no doubt. Benno shoots in but no luck this time. Churchill pushes Benno away with a front kick. Benno tries to clinch but Churchill moves away enabling Churchill to counter with a crisp jab. Benno gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Churchill counters with a three punch combo that has Benno backing up. Benno nods at Churchill to acknowledge the strikes. Benno fails with an attempt to clinch.
Benno shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Churchill as he avoids it easily. Benno shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Churchill scores with a hook. Benno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Churchill tries to avoid it but Benno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Churchill to the ground. Churchill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Churchill scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Benno doesn't seem bothered though. Churchill connects with a looping right hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Benno looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Benno tries to score a power double leg takedown but Churchill sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Benno somewhat. Benno fails with the takedown. Benno is looking to clinch but Churchill is avoiding it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Churchill, right into the meat.
Churchill swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Winston Churchill is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Churchill swats away the attempt to clinch by Benno. Benno tries to clinch there but Churchill circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Harry Benno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Benno has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
