Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leslie Chow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Noel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leslie Chow! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Noel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chow.
No joy there for Chow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chow throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Noel looks to land a combination but Chow avoids it well. Chow swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Noel to counter with a crisp jab. Chow lands a left and a right that send Noel crashing to the mat, dazed. Chow thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Chow wants to clinch but Noel slips to the side and Noel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chow throws a right hand that Noel ducks under and follows up with a left that Noel also avoids with ease. Chow throws a hook but Noel blocks it. Chow swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Noel counters with a series of strikes. Chow will be more careful next time no doubt. Chow throws a combination that misses and Noel counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Noel scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Chow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Noel. Chow misses with a double jab
and Noel counters with a left and a right that stings Chow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chow keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Noel. Chow throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Noel sees it coming and avoids it easily. Chow dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Noel throws a nice looking combination but Chow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Chow misses with a double jab
and Noel counters with a two punch combo. Noel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A swing and a miss from Chow. Chow throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Noel counters with a two punch combo. Noel is breathing heavily. Chow misses with a combination
and Noel counters with a three punch combo that has Chow backing up. Chow nods at Noel to acknowledge the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Noel connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Noel staying out of range there. Chow thows a left - swing and a miss! Noel gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Chow misses with a straight left. Noel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chow connects with a superb combination that knocks Noel out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Chow before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Noel!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Leslie Chow!
