Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saint Seiya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ando Zemekis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zemekis fails with the takedown.
Seiya looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Seiya trying to control the position from guard on top but Zemekis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Seiya has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Seiya's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Zemekis trying to control but Seiya is having none of it.

You get the feeling that Seiya really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Zemekis unloads with some shots from mount but Seiya bucks and avoids them well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Zemekis is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Seiya is surviving well by controlling Zemekis's body position as best he can.
Seiya squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Seiya closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Seiya lands in his opponent's guard.
Seiya seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Seiya postures up in Zemekis's guard and throws a big left but Zemekis blocks it.

Zemekis looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Seiya puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Seiya wants to pass to mount but Zemekis is defending the position.
Seiya knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zemekis on the ground.
Seiya is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Seiya here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Seiya cracks Zemekis with a solid left hand.

Seiya distracts Zemekis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zemekis is on top in guard.

Zemekis looking to sit in guard and control but Seiya gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Zemekis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Seiya postures up and lands a big shot to Zemekis's brow.
Seiya tries to free his leg and advance position but Zemekis is retaining full guard.
Seiya gets to his feet. Zemekis looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Seiya closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zemekis to the mat! Zemekis manages to get full guard.
Seiya landing with the ground and pound.
Zemekis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Seiya works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zemekis is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saint Seiya dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Zemekis tries to clinch there but Seiya circles away.
Seiya fails with a takedown attempt.
Seiya shoots for a takedown but Zemekis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zemekis is looking to clinch but Seiya is avoiding it.
Zemekis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Seiya counters with a takedown into side control.
The ground and pound from Seiya seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Seiya throwing strikes but Zemekis manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Zemekis tries to advance to mount but Seiya denies him.
Zemekis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Seiya knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Seiya is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Zemekis has just dragged him back down to the mat.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Seiya is not content to let Zemekis control the position.
Zemekis wants to stand but Seiya has his arm trapped.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Seiya shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Zemekis napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Zemekis is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Seiya has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Zemekis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Seiya slips a nice elbow through Zemekis's hands, connecting with Zemekis's forehead.

Zemekis is trying to maintain the position but Seiya is very close to passing his half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Seiya working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Seiya will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saint Seiya. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zemekis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Seiya scores with a takedown into Zemekis's guard.

Seiya lands a couple of decent looking shots.
And that's the end of the fight!
Saint Seiya showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Seiya, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
