The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briar loads up on a big right hand but Yadav slips the punch.
Yadav shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Briar pinned against the cage. Briar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Yadav is trying hard to land a takedown here. Briar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Briar throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yadav stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Briar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yadav circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Briar tries to land a front kick but Yadav steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
