Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hardy Pickette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shim Sham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickette moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pickette slips a jab and a cross from Sham.
Sham listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Sham misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pickette could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pickette dives in and grabs Sham's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sham pushes down on Pickette's head and hops out.
Sham throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sham throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pickette wants to clinch up but Sham keeps it at a distance.
Pickette throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sham looks to land a combination but Pickette avoids it well.
Pickette throws a head kick but Sham moves out of range.
Pickette throws a head kick that misses.
Pickette shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sham pinned against the cage. Sham gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sham jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Shim Sham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pickette shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sham but Sham pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hardy Pickette. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A slow jab from Sham misses its intended target.
Sham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pickette moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sham swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Pickette takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Nice sprawl there from Sham as Pickette shoots in.
Pickette tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sham sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pickette somewhat.
Sham thows a body shot but no joy.
Pickette tries to clinch up.
Pickette throws the kick towards the body but Sham avoids it.
Pickette is breathing heavily.
Sham throws out a loose jab but Pickette uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sham lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Hardy Pickette has been cut.
Sham defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pickette.
Shim Sham is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pickette takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sham fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pickette takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pickette moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sham lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pickette at a distance.
Sham cracks Pickette with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sham punishes Pickette's body with a nice straight punch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Sham cracks Pickette with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sham has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pickette to stand back up!

Pickette is rocked!
Sham dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Pickette is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sham misses with a series of wild punches.
Pickette seems to have got his legs back now.

Sham cracks Pickette with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sham has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pickette to stand back up!
Sham is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Pickette had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Pickette takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Sham cracks Pickette with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sham has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pickette to stand back up!

Hardy Pickette's cut is getting worse.
Sham scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sham throws a nice looking combination but Pickette bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sham looks to land a combination but Pickette avoids it well.
Pickette tries for a takedown but Sham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pickette staying out of range there.
A punch lands to the side of Pickette 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Pickette blocks a jab.
Sham throws a series of punches but Pickette avoids them all with ease.
Sham scores with a body shot.
Pickette loses concentration momentarily and Sham pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Pickette crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Sham finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
