The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Bad Guy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rickenhausen circles away from the clinch attempt.
The Bad Guy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rickenhausen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ville The Bad Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rickenhausen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. The Bad Guy sprawls well initially but Rickenhausen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Bad Guy looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rickenhausen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Bad Guy wants to stand back up but Rickenhausen manages to pass into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The Bad Guy wants to get back to his feet.

Rickenhausen advances nicely into full mount.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The Bad Guy throws a sloppy head kick and Rickenhausen moves out of range easily.

Rickenhausen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming The Bad Guy to the mat! The Bad Guy manages to get full guard.

The Bad Guy wants to stand and escape but Rickenhausen is having none of it.

Rickenhausen is standing up over The Bad Guy. The Bad Guy looks to escape but Rickenhausen dives into side control.

Rickenhausen works to advance to full mount. The Bad Guy defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

You get the feeling that The Bad Guy really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Ville The Bad Guy will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
