Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between hasan halilbasic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyuzo Mifune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). halilbasic's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, bruce lee theme. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mifune shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
halilbasic landing rabbit punches to the side of Mifune's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
Mifune is trying to work for a kimura but halilbasic is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mifune is working for a kimura but halilbasic is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
halilbasic is looking for a sweep. Mifune is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

halilbasic tries to kick Mifune off but Mifune keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Mifune is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Mifune slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mifune wants to control from the top but halilbasic keeps moving.

Mifune seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Despite being in the dominant position, Kyuzo Mifune just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mifune takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
halilbasic doesn't manage to clinch there - Mifune circles away.
Mifune drives through with a takedown into guard.
halilbasic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mifune is aware though and is defending well.

Mifune gets to his feet. halilbasic looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Both fighters circling a little - Mifune finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Mifune seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but halilbasic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
