0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Hall! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nighthawk scores a takedown into full mount! Hall is in all sorts of trouble here.
Nighthawk is standing up, even though he is in mount. Jesse Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hall fails with the takedown and Nighthawk counters with a single leg into guard. Hall didn't expect that. Hall tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall wants to hit a switch here but Nighthawk passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hall there! Hall looks gassed! Nighthawk unloads with some shots from mount but Hall bucks and avoids them well.
Hall tries to improve his position but instead Nighthawk has taken his back! Hall can't escape the position.
