Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonny Crusher! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown closes the distance and pushes Crusher back into the cage. Brown is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Crusher can't break the clinch.
Brown working Crusher over with knees to the body. Brown keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Crusher's efforts to push away. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Crusher as Brown tries to tie him up. Brown takes a knee to the side of the body. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Crusher obliges. Brown changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Crusher fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Brown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crusher circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crusher shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brown moves into the clinch. Brown tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Crusher smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown rushes Crusher and presses him up against the cage. Brown tries to pull guard but Crusher holds him up against the cage and eventually Brown drops back down to his feet.
Brown tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Crusher smiles and moves away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Crusher. Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crusher as he jumps to the side. Crusher tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance. Brown misses with a takedown attempt and Crusher counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Crusher pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown shoots in for a double leg but Crusher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Crusher has his takedown stuffed and Brown counters with a takedown into side control. Brown is breathing heavily. Crusher is looking for a sweep. Crusher is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it. Sloppy strikes there by Brown. Crusher has one of Brown's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher wants to get back to his feet. Crusher is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it. Crusher might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brown kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Crusher has his takedown stuffed and Brown counters with a single leg into guard. Crusher didn't expect that. Brown postures up in Crusher's guard and throws a big left but Crusher blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crusher wants to stand up but Brown is controlling him. Brown wants to control from the top but Crusher keeps moving. Crusher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Brown trying to control but Crusher is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steven Brown dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Crusher shoots in but Brown avoids the takedown attempt easily. Brown with a poor takedown and Crusher counters with a nice kick to the body. Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crusher as he jumps to the side. Brown stuffs the takedown. Crusher tries to clinch but Brown moves away and Brown counters with a takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Brown is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crusher knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crusher is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Crusher tries to bench press Brown off him but Brown keeps the position. Crusher manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Crusher wants to control but Brown is keeping him busy. Crusher is working for a submission of some sort.

Crusher takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Crusher breaks from Brown's wrist control and lands an elbow. Crusher is standing up, even though he is in mount. Brown darts in trying to clinch and Crusher counters by clinching up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crusher is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Steven Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Crusher. Brown is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Crusher gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Crusher pulls guard effortlessly. Crusher throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Brown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Crusher has one foot on Brown's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Crusher tries for a takedown but Brown circles away easily so Brown counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Crusher is trying to keep Brown in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Crusher closes the distance and clinches. Brown is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crusher pulls Brown into guard.
