Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Beam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Beam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Allen Carson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Beam circles away.
Beam misses with a hook. Carson ducked under it nicely.
Beam goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Carson slips under a jab.
Carson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Beam.
Beam loads up on a big right hand but Carson slips the punch.
Beam jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Beam is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beam connects with a right hand. Carson shakes it off.
Carson dodges the punch combination from Beam.

Carson drives through with a takedown into guard.

Carson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Beam works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beam has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carson has managed to get both his arms back between Beam's legs - danger averted.

Beam has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Beam has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Beam looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Carson stands up over Beam, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Carson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Carson lands a couple of elbows.

Beam is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Carson defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beam has momentary wrist control but Carson slips an elbow through the middle.

Beam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Carson postures up in Beam's guard and throws a big left but Beam blocks it.

Carson throwing strikes but missing.
Carson with a flurry of punches that miss.
Carson chips away with some ground and pound.

Carson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Beam's head.

Beam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Beam looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Carson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carson with a nice head shot there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Beam dominated that round.

Beam had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Carson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Beam Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Carson's back instead.
