Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James West!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Kreese bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
West throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
West tries to strike but it doesn't land.
West can't do much from the bottom here.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Kreese is looking to take a break and control but West is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
West tries to buck Kreese off but Kreese is having none of it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Kreese feints and as West raises his hands in defense, Kreese changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kreese throws and elbow that misses. West uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kreese's guard. Nice move by West!

You can see the frustration on West's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kreese, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
