Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaelyn Crestfall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Travik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jaelyn Crestfall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Travik! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crestfall throws out a leg kick but Travik moves out of range and Crestfall only half commits. Crestfall misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Travik.
Travik drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Crestfall is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Travik prevents Crestfall from getting back to his feet. Crestfall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Crestfall keeping moving, preventing Travik from controlling successfully. Crestfall wants to get back to his feet but Travik is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Travik wants to control from the top but Crestfall keeps moving. Crestfall controls Travik momentarily but Travik frees himself. Travik stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crestfall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A good leg kick by Crestfall. Crestfall has his takedown stuffed and Travik counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Crestfall is working an open guard so Travik takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Crestfall throws a predictable looking body shot
and Travik decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Crestfall's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Travik looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Travik prevents Crestfall from getting back to his feet. Travik wanted to stand there but Crestfall had control of the position. Travik is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Travik slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Travik has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Crestfall tries a low kick but Travik avoids it. Travik misses with a double jab.
Travik works over Crestfall's head and body with a nice combination. Crestfall is breathing heavily. Crestfall wants to clinch and Travik counters with a nice double leg into side control. Crestfall won't be happy with that. Travik stands up. Crestfall takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Travik delivers a nice body kick. Travik gets the takedown into side control. Travik working the ground and pound. Travik is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crestfall knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Crestfall is looking for a sweep. Travik landing a few strikes. Travik working the head and body with strikes. Travik advances to full mount. Travik controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Travik wants to finish this one by submission but Crestfall is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Travik. Travik landing punches. Travik jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Crestfall manages to avoid the submission attempt. Crestfall is trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Travik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nice jab there from Travik. Crestfall throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Peter Travik has been cut. Travik closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Crestfall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Travik is working away from the top position though. Travik is trying to control. Crestfall wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Travik perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Crestfall is defending against the submission attempts here by Travik.
Crestfall wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crestfall is staying active underneath Travik, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Travik is looking for a kimura but Crestfall is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Travik to get the leverage. Crestfall wants to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Travik is defended easily by Crestfall. Travik misses with a wild combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Crestfall is in trouble now - Travik has advanced to mount! Crestfall really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Travik breaks from Crestfall's wrist control and lands an elbow. Travik looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Travik avoids the attempt from Crestfall to control. Peter Travik has got the better of the ground game so far.

Travik has control of Crestfall's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Crestfall regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Crestfall is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Travik looking to control and managing it successfully. Travik with shots to the head and body - Crestfall looks very uncomfortable down there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Travik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Peter Travik's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Travik shoots in and bounces Crestfall off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Travik got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crestfall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Travik has managed to get both his arms back between Crestfall's legs - danger averted. Crestfall could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Travik controls from within his opponent's guard. Travik trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Travik throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Crestfall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Crestfall avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Travik stands and steps away. Crestfall gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Travik connects with the punch.
It looks like Jaelyn Crestfall has been cut. Travik wants to clinch up but Crestfall keeps it at a distance. Travik moves into the clinch. Travik has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Crestfall avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Travik escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Travik thows a leg kick but Crestfall checks it and Crestfall counters with a body kick that stops Travik in his tracks momentarily. Travik throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Jaelyn Crestfall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Travik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crestfall's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Travik wants to pass the guard but Crestfall is keeping the position. Travik passes easily into side control. Nice work. Travik lands a nice forearm strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Travik controls the position. Travik trying to control the action but Crestfall is working from the bottom. Travik is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Crestfall tries to bench press Travik off him but Travik keeps the position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Crestfall is trying to control Travik's posture but Travik avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Travik tries for a kimura but Crestfall is defending well. Crestfall struggling a bit here. Travik creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. You can see the frustration on Crestfall's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Travik is looking to take a break and control but Crestfall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Check out the look on Travik's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Crestfall is not content to let Travik control the position. Crestfall wants to control but Travik postures up. Crestfall tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Travik softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Travik lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Jaelyn Crestfall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Peter Travik is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Travik has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Travik controls the action.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Travik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Travik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
