The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ale fails to land with a series of punches.
Stone misses with the combination.

Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Stone working the ground and pound effectively.
Ale working to try and regain half guard.
Stone landing punches.

Stone looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Stone prevents Ale from getting the reversal.

Ale tries to hold on but Stone pushes him away.

Stone cracks Ale with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Stone postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ale looks a forlorn figure.
Oh Ale is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ale tries to hold on but Stone postures up.
Stone controlling his opponent.
Ale wants to control but Stone is having none of it.

Stone is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ale is surviving well by controlling Stone's body position as best he can.

Stone working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Ale wants to control but Stone is having none of it.

Ale's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Ale seems to have got his legs back now.
Stone landing strikes from the mount.
Ale tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Stone content just to control the position here.
Stone avoids the attempt from Ale to control.
Ale is trying desperately to improve position.
Ale is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Ale regains half guard.
Ale has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stone is working away from the top position though.
Stone wants to pass the guard but Ale is defending well.
Stone is nestled in close to Ale, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ale is positioning himself well to prevent Stone advancing to mount.

The referee stands the fighters back up. India Ale just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

and Stone counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ale's guard now.
Ale working a defensive guard but Stone passes into half guard.
Ale trying to control but Stone postures up.
Ale pushes Stone off looking to stand but Stone dives back in and keeps control.
Ale regains full guard. Nicely done.
Ale is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ale looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Ale's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee stands the fighters back up. India Ale just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Ale throws a combination that misses
and Stone counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Stone closes the distance and clinches.
Ale misses with an elbow strike.

Stone breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ale fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stone showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ale.

Ale throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ale wants to clinch up but Stone keeps it at a distance.

Stone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ale, pushing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Ale throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Ale throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Ale comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Stone breaks the clinch.
Ale throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease.
Ale throws a series of punches but Stone avoids them all with ease.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ale connects with a nice cross there... Stone is looking wobbly and Ale recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Stone to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Ale jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
