Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zlat Blaze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Prachuap Prasoetram! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prasoetram shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blaze pinned against the cage. Blaze gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Prasoetram is looking to clinch. Prasoetram tries to clinch up. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Blaze!
Prasoetram tries to clinch up. Blaze shoots in for a double leg but Prasoetram sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Blaze swats away the attempt to clinch by Prasoetram. Blaze bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Prasoetram can't do much from the bottom here. Blaze wants to lay and pray for a moment but Prasoetram keeps working. You can see the frustration on Prasoetram's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Blaze working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Blaze wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Prasoetram, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prasoetram wants to control but Blaze postures up. Prasoetram tries to bench press Blaze off him but Blaze keeps the position. Prasoetram wants to get back to his feet but Blaze drags him back down. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blaze throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Prasoetram is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Blaze tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Blaze is breathing heavily. Prasoetram is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Blaze asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Prasoetram closes the distance and pushes Blaze back into the cage. Prasoetram scores with a knee to the head.

Prasoetram wants to stand up but Blaze is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Blaze fails with a takedown attempt. Prasoetram tries to clinch there but Blaze circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Blaze trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Prasoetram is looking to clinch but Blaze is avoiding it.

Zlat Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blaze stuffs the takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blaze. Prasoetram is looking to clinch but Blaze is avoiding it.

Prasoetram manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Prasoetram stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Prasoetram has closed the distance and engaged Blaze in a clinch.

Blaze shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Prasoetram but Prasoetram pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zlat Blaze. That's going to take a lot out of him. Prasoetram fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Blaze with a lazy takedown attempt and Prasoetram moves into the clinch. Prasoetram will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Blaze up against the cage. Prasoetram working Blaze over with knees to the body. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Prasoetram's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Blaze is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Prasoetram frees his head nicely. Oh but Blaze has switched to an armbar! Prasoetram is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
