4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Kraken! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tim Leary! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leary throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kraken was covering up waiting for the punch and Leary finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kraken pulls Leary in close to prevent any damage. Kraken keeping moving, preventing Leary from controlling successfully. Leary advances position into side control! Kraken struggling a bit here. Leary wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kraken keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kraken is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Leary has just dragged him back down to the mat. An elbow from Leary crashes against the mat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Leary. Kraken cracks Leary with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Tim Leary has been cut. Mark Kraken is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Leary throws a low kick but Kraken avoids it. Kraken will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tim Leary seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kraken is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Leary takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Leary keeping moving, preventing Kraken from controlling successfully. Leary wants to sweep here but Kraken controlling him for the moment. Kraken wants to stand but Leary has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Leary looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kraken is one step ahead there.
