Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between josh Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojtek Samiec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wojtek Samiec is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Samiec.
Carter moves into the clinch.
Carter lands a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Carter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Carter stands and steps away. Samiec gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Samiec stalks Carter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carter's face. Carter staggers backwards, shaken.

and Carter counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Samiec throws a series of strikes that have Carter backpedaling.
Carter lands a nice looking kick to the body. Samiec takes a step back to recover.

and Carter holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Carter tries to close the distance and clinch but Samiec swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Samiec looks to clinch
and Carter counters with a body kick that stops Samiec in his tracks momentarily.
Samiec tries to bum rush Carter with a series of wild strikes but Carter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Samiec scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Carter doesn't seem bothered though.
Samiec looks to land a combination but Carter avoids it well.
Samiec throws a series of punches but Carter avoids them all with ease.
Samiec works over Carter's head and body with a nice combination.
Samiec lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Samiec.
josh Carter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Samiec shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carter sprawls well. Carter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Samiec gets slowly back to his feet.

Samiec throws a right and a left that both miss.
Samiec takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Samiec cracks Carter with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Samiec throws a nice looking combination but Carter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Carter misses with a takedown attempt - Samiec sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Carter has Samiec up against the cage in a clinch.
Carter pulls guard successfully.
Carter wants to sweep here but Samiec controlling him for the moment.
Carter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Carter is really struggling to control Samiec but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Wojtek Samiec showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
