Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeLap swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bellend fails to land the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bellend.

Bellend shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Bellend has gone for a leg lock! DeLap slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bellend's guard.
DeLap thows a big elbow that misses.
DeLap wants to control from the top but Bellend keeps moving.

Bellend moves forwards but DeLap connects with a nice, crisp jab.

DeLap with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
DeLap works Bellend's body with a nice hook.
DeLap scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Bellend slips a jab and a cross from DeLap.
Left hook, right uppercut from DeLap.
DeLap's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and DeLap duly obliges.
Bellend avoids a punch combination nicely.
DeLap tries to land a front kick but Bellend steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
No joy there for DeLap, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
DeLap throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bellend on the side of the head.
Bellend closes the distance and clinches up with DeLap, looking for a takedown. Bellend pushes DeLap against the cage but DeLap circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by DeLap.
DeLap doesn't manage to clinch there - Bellend circles away.
Bellend looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Matt DeLap is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
DeLap tries to bum rush Bellend with a series of wild strikes but Bellend uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bellend is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for DeLap!
DeLap is squirming around, avoiding Bellend's attempts to control the action.

Bellend darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
DeLap wants to control but Bellend is keeping busy.

DeLap is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
DeLap tries to buck Bellend off but Bellend is having none of it.

DeLap goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bellend shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has DeLap pinned against the cage. DeLap gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
DeLap lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bellend's sensitive parts.
DeLap ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

DeLap moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
