Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Freddy Chapman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Donnie McClean!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Chapman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McClean throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chapman's waist but Chapman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McClean off to one side.
Chapman connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Chapman works over McClean's head and body with a nice combination.
Chapman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McClean tries for a takedown but Chapman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

McClean throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chapman was covering up waiting for the punch and McClean finishes the takedown easily into guard.
McClean slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Chapman regains half guard, as McClean was trying to land strikes.

Chapman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McClean pulls his head out easily.
McClean not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.

McClean looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chapman wants to get back to his feet.

McClean is looking to pass to full mount but he's left his head exposed in the process. Chapman has locked up a guillotine and regained full guard. He's really cranking on it - this could be the end! Is it? Is it? No... YES! YES! He's tapped! I didn't think he was going to get it there for a minute but he did! Well done Chapman! He waited for his chance and took it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Freddy Chapman!
