The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fiyah sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hudson somewhat.
Hudson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fiyah paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hudson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fiyah pushes Hudson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hudson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hudson lands some shots froms side control.
You can see the frustration on Fiyah's face as Hudson controls the position.
Hudson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fiyah keeps working.
Hudson staying calm.

Fiyah stops Hudson from passing to mount.
Hudson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Fiyah to his feet.
Fiyah tries to bum rush Hudson with a series of wild strikes but Hudson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fiyah is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Hudson or perhaps it was just good defense by Fiyah which made him look bad.
Lutan Fiyah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hudson throws a right hand that Fiyah ducks under and follows up with a left that Fiyah also avoids with ease.
Fiyah throws a combination that misses
and Hudson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fiyah!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice elbow there by Hudson.
Fiyah is trying to stand but he's just given Hudson his back.
Hudson scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Fiyah is looking for a way out.
Fiyah knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hudson on the ground.
Hudson lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Hudson.
Hudson controlling the position well here. Fiyah rolled but Hudson kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Hudson has got one arm under Fiyah's chin. This could be trouble... Fiyah trying to control the other hand but Hudson gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Fiyah has tapped out! The fight is over!
