Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Christie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cael Sic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Christie looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Sic has taken the fight to the clinch.
Christie takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Jackson Christie has been cut.
Christie stops a takedown attempt from Sic.
Sic gets underhooks to prevent Christie's takedown attempt.
Christie takes an elbow to the forehead.

Christie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Sic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Christie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Christie paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sic has hold of one of Christie's legs. Christie is fighting the takedown attempt but Sic gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Sic missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Christie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Christie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sic stands and throws Christie's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Sic decides to stand back up. Sic steps back and let's Christie get back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sic lands a nice leg kick that just misses Christie's sensitive parts.
Sic throws a right hand that Christie ducks under and follows up with a left that Christie also avoids with ease.

Sic drives through with a takedown into guard.

Sic drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Christie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sic has Christie in his guard.

Christie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Christie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Christie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sic is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sic has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Christie misses with a takedown

and Sic counters by clinching up.

Sic is trying to trip Christie. He has hold of a leg but Christie is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sic persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Christie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Sic has picked Christie up and slammed him! Christie can't keep hold of the triangle and Sic manages to pass to side control!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Christie drops back looking for a leg! Sic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sic manages to kick Christie off! Christie jumps back into Sic's guard.

Christie has gone for a leg lock! Sic slips out almost immediately though and dives into Christie's guard.
Sic is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Christie keeping moving, preventing Sic from controlling successfully.

Christie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sic is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Christie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sic's back instead.

Christie is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sic has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Christie is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Sic defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Sic manages to stand up with Christie still on his back. Eventually Christie drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Sic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Christie, pushing him back against the cage.

Cael Sic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
