Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between DJ Wen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ice Mindo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, DJ Wen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ice Mindo! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mindo has managed to clinch.
Mindo tries to land knees in the clinch but Wen avoids the damage to the body. Mindo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Mindo slows down the pace here.
Mindo wants to break free but Wen has control.
Mindo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Wen tries to score a body lock takedown but Mindo shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Mindo prevents the takedown attempt.
Wen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A looping hook to the body misses from Mindo. Wen does a little dance to reset his feet. Mindo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mindo shoots in but no luck this time. Mindo misses with the combination.
Mindo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mindo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mindo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wen pinned against the cage. Wen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. DJ Wen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ice Mindo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mindo misses with a series of wild punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mindo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mindo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wen stuffs the takedown. Mindo looks gassed! Wen clinches up against the cage. Wen pulls guard successfully.
Mindo trying to control the position from guard on top but Wen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mindo stands up from Wen's guard - Mindo perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wen with a lazy takedown attempt and Mindo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Mindo trying to control the position but instead, Wen has worked for underhooks and has pushed Mindo into the cage. Wen decides to pull guard. Mindo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wen is keeping the position for now. Mindo is looking to work some ground and pound but Wen has wrist control. Wen wants to stand but Mindo is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wen trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Mindo wants to control from the top but Wen keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mindo with a flurry of punches that miss. Mindo trying to control but Wen is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wen clinches up with Mindo and pushes him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wen has Mindo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mindo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Wen wants the takedown. Mindo is fighting it off but Wen persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mindo's guard against the cage. Wen scoring with some ground and pound. Wen controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Wen postures up.
Mindo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Wen stands and throws Mindo's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Wen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mindo keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DJ Wen dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mindo with a poor takedown so Wen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wen throws a big right hand that misses. Mindo lands a decent punch to the body there. Wen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mindo has momentary wrist control but Wen slips an elbow through the middle. Wen trying to control the position from guard on top but Mindo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Wen is in close to Mindo's body, working some short punches and elbows. Mindo is breathing heavily. Mindo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wen wants to control from the top but Mindo keeps moving. Wen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wen preventing the sweep.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Mindo trying to control but Wen postures up.
Wen performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Wen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mindo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Wen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mindo on the ground. Mindo is looking for a sweep. Wen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mindo trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mindo wants to improve his position but Wen is controlling well.
Mindo wants to get back to full guard but Wen has mounted him! Mindo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Wen looking to control but Mindo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wen controlling the position easily from mount. Mindo taking shots to the head. Mindo is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Wen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mindo looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mindo tries to hold on but Wen postures up. Mindo is wriggling around trying to escape.
A nice elbow there by Wen. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wen avoids the attempt from Mindo to control. Mindo working to try and regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DJ Wen dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Mindo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wen to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Mindo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wen controls the pace. Wen passes into half guard. Mindo desperately trying to maintain half guard. Mindo wants to improve his position but Wen is controlling well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wen slows the pace down in half guard. Mindo wants to get back to full guard. DJ Wen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wen lands with a punch from half guard. Wen is taking a breather. Mindo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Mindo punching from the bottom.
Wen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mindo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mindo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mindo keeping moving, preventing Wen from controlling successfully. Wen won't allow Mindo to get back to his feet. Mindo being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mindo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mindo keeping moving, preventing Wen from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wen tries for a takedown but Mindo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mindo misses with a takedown and Wen counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mindo!
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Wen connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Mindo is working to get back to half guard.
Wen working away from the top, dropping strikes. Mindo is looking to improve his position but Wen isn't that keen on the idea. Mindo wants to control but Wen is having none of it. DJ Wen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mindo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Mindo swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
And that's the end of the fight! DJ Wen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
