Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Burr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flip Flop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Burr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Flip Flop!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burr throws a nice looking combination but Flop bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Flop has Burr up against the cage in a clinch.
Flop looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Flop looking to stall.
A head punch on the inside from Flop fails to land.
Flop stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Flop drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Burr gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Flop tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Burr smiles and moves away.
Burr tries to clinch but Flop moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burr misses with a double jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burr misses with a wild combination.
Burr misses with a wild combination.
Burr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Flop.
Flop fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tim Burr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Flip Flop.
Flop fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Flop shoots in looking for a takedown. Burr tries to sprawl out of it but Flop keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Burr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Burr fails in his attempt to clinch.
Burr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Flop throws out the jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Flop shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Burr blocking the ground and pound.
Burr is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Flop has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Burr's face.

Flop wants to finish this one by submission but Burr is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Flop.

Flop working for a guillotine from mount but Burr is in no mood to give up.
Flop thowing shots but they're missing.
Flop sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Flop has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Poor strikes thrown by Flop there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Burr tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Flop looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Burr is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Burr is breathing heavily.
Flop unloading with bombs!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Flop throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Flop is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Burr is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Burr flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Flop anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Burr and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Flop slips an arm under Burr chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Flop has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Flop is squeezing on Burr like an anaconda would it's prey. Burr fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Flip Flop!
