Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janek Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Janek Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Wolf!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease.
Wolf tries to bum rush Walker with a series of wild strikes but Walker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Walker has a takedown stuffed.
Wolf tries for a takedown but Walker circles away easily

and Walker counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wolf struggling a bit here.
Wolf is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wolf is not content to let Walker control the position.
Wolf is looking for a sweep.
Wolf manages to work his way to half guard, despite Walker's best efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wolf is trying to maintain the position but Walker is very close to passing his half guard.

Walker is looking for a kimura but Wolf is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Walker to get the leverage.

Wolf looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Wolf looks gassed!

Walker working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Wolf is trying to control but can't.
Walker throwing shots but Wolf is blocking nicely.

Walker is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Walker is controlling the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Wolf closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Walker did well to prevent Wolf getting side control.
Wolf is pressing down on Walker's thigh, looking to free his foot. Walker is holding on for now.
Wolf perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Wolf is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Walker tries to get to full guard but Wolf has control of the leg.
Wolf wants to lay and pray for a moment but Walker keeps working.

Wolf is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Walker regains full guard. Nicely done.
Wolf wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.
Walker controls Wolf momentarily but Wolf frees himself.

Wolf is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Walker gets caught flat footed, as Wolf shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Walker wants to stand but Wolf is controlling the position.
Wolf wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.

Wolf tries to free his leg and advance position but Walker is retaining full guard.
Walker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walker tries to get out of the position.

Wolf drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wolf jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Wolf tries to free his leg and advance position but Walker is retaining full guard.
Walker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Wolf shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Walker sprawls well. Walker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wolf gets slowly back to his feet.
Walker fails to land the takedown.
Wolf pivots, looking for a leg kick but Walker is out of range and Wolf settles back down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Janek Walker will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Wolf tries for a takedown but Walker circles away easily

and Walker counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Walker.
Walker wants to control from the top but Wolf keeps moving.

Wolf had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Walker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wolf Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Walker's back instead.
Walker is keeping busy.

Wolf working for a choke but Walker is defending well.

Wolf is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Wolf keeps control of the position as Walker tries to break free.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wolf has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Walker has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Wolf's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Wolf lands shots from the back.

Wolf has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Walker has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Walker is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
What can Walker do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Wolf is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Walker. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Wolf working for a choke but Walker reverses nicely into Wolf 's guard.

Wolf has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Walker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Wolf is looking for a triangle but Walker pushes his legs off easily.

Wolf wants to sweep but no luck.
Wolf trying to control the position.
Walker throwing strikes but missing.
Walker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wolf looking for a triangle here. Walker is fighting it but it looks tight! Wolf pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Walker is tapping out - this one is all over!
