Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shoryu Ken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ken Yoshida will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shoryu Ken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ken Yoshida!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Yoshida throws a sloppy head kick and Ken moves out of range easily.
Yoshida throws a leg kick but Ken sees it coming and moves out of range.
Yoshida closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ken to the mat! Ken manages to get full guard.
Ken avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Yoshida throws and elbow that misses. Ken uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Yoshida's guard. Nice move by Ken!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ken trying to control but Yoshida is working from the bottom.
Yoshida is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ken defends well.

Ken trying to control the position from guard on top but Yoshida is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yoshida throws a couple of heel strikes.
Ken wants to control from the top but Yoshida keeps moving.
Yoshida is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ken might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ken is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Yoshida looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ken has picked Yoshida up and slammed him! Yoshida can't keep hold of the triangle and Ken manages to pass to side control!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Yoshida is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ken working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Yoshida is looking for a sweep.
Yoshida is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ken wants to pass to mount but Yoshida is defending the position.
Yoshida wants to improve his position but Ken is controlling well.

Yoshida has a hand on Ken's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Ken takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Ken goes for an armbar but Yoshida turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Yoshida.
Yoshida throws a sloppy strike and Ken has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Yoshida is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Ken!
