Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurmelainen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cavalera swivels and escapes.
Cavalera tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nurmelainen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cavalera closes the distance and clinches.
Cavalera stops a takedown attempt from Nurmelainen.
Cavalera breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nurmelainen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cavalera is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Nurmelainen looking to control but Cavalera is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Nurmelainen won't let Cavalera get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Cavalera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nurmelainen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nurmelainen working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Cavalera turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Nurmelainen off and cradles Cavalera's limp body as Nurmelainen celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jari Nurmelainen!
