Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Mad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elephant Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mad comes to the cage accompanied by Move aside and let the man go through. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Max Mad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Elephant Man! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mad shoots in for a double leg but Man sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mad fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mad tries to close the distance and clinch but Man swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. No luck for Mad with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Mad. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight stays on the outside here - Man looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mad tries for a takedown but Man sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mad shoots in and drives through. Man sprawls well. Man fails in his attempt to clinch. A punch combination from Mad misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mad shoots in for a double leg but Man sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mad dives in and grabs Man's left leg, looking for a takedown. Man pushes down on Mad's head and hops out. Man stuffs the takedown attempt from Mad. Mad gets slowly back to his feet. Mad fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Man gets in close and instigates a clinch. Man wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Man drags the fight down to the ground.
Mad won't allow Man to get back to his feet. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Man looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Man not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mad being controlled here momentarily. Man is looking to stand up but Mad isn't so interested in that idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mad shoots in for a double leg but Man sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mad fails to land the takedown. Mad shoots for a takedown but Man saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mad fails with the takedown. Mad fails with the takedown. Man gets a clinch. Mad tries to score a body lock takedown but Man shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Man breaks from the clinch.

Man tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mad swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mad shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Man sprawls well. Man wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mad gets slowly back to his feet. Mad misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Man gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mad prevents Man from breaking the clinch. Man's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mad shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mad shoots in and bounces Man off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elephant Man dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Man is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Man is trying to stand up. Mad is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Man is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Man flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mad anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Man and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mad slips an arm under Man chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mad has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mad is squeezing on Man like an anaconda would it's prey. Man fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
