Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuck Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Crudele!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell lands a jab to Crudele's midsection.
Liddell throws a head kick but Crudele moves out of range.
Crudele is looking to land body kicks.
Crudele showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Liddell.
Liddell cracks Crudele with a good jab.


It looks like Antonio Crudele has been cut.
Crudele takes one on the button.
Liddell swats away the attempt to clinch by Crudele.
Liddell throws a series of punches but Crudele moves out of range.
Crudele wants to clinch up but Liddell keeps it at a distance.
Liddell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Crudele. Crudele obviously looking to wear him down.
Liddell throws a right and a left that Crudele avoids nicely.
Liddell with a nice cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Crudele instigates a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Liddell - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Crudele is working for takedown but Liddell is calmly controlling the position for now.

Crudele breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crudele shoots in for a takedown but Liddell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Liddell throws a right hand that Crudele ducks under and follows up with a left that Crudele also avoids with ease.
Crudele moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Liddell looks to land a combination but Crudele avoids it well.
Liddell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Liddell throws a jab but it's blocked by Crudele.
Liddell throws a looping overhand right but Crudele ducks down to avoid it.
Crudele dodges the punch combination from Liddell.
Liddell throws a hook but Crudele avoids it easily.
Liddell takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Crudele shoots in but Liddell avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Chuck Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Crudele.
Liddell slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Crudele fails to land the takedown.
Liddell looks to land a combination but Crudele avoids it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A head kick by Crudele misses
and Liddell counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Liddell is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Liddell scores with a jab to the jaw.


That has opened up Antonio Crudele's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crudele shoots in and drives through. Liddell sprawls well.
Crudele looks gassed!
Liddell misses with a wild body shot.
Crudele takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Crudele closes the distance and clinches up with Liddell, looking for a takedown. Crudele pushes Liddell against the cage but Liddell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Liddell getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Chuck Liddell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Liddell throws a right and a left that both miss.
Liddell misses the jab.
Liddell misses with a two punch combination.
Crudele shoots in but no luck this time.
Crudele showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Liddell.
Crudele tries to move into range but Liddell moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Liddell connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Crudele! He's out on his feet! Liddell rushes in and drops Crudele with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chuck Liddell!
