Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prokhorov tries to close the distance and clinch up but CACATb swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Prokhorov gets a takedown into half guard.
CACATb wants to get back to his feet.
Prokhorov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks CACATb with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

CACATb is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Prokhorov scores with a couple of nice shots.
Prokhorov is trying to control the action in half guard but CACATb is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

CACATb wants to sweep but Prokhorov has passed to side control!
CACATb is looking to regain half guard here but Prokhorov keeps moving and retains side control.

CACATb parries the strikes from Prokhorov easily there. Prokhorov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable CACATb to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
CACATb takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Prokhorov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Prokhorov scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at CACATb to see if he's OK.
CACATb tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Prokhorov remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

A short body shot lands from Prokhorov as the two fighters clinch.
CACATb drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Prokhorov wants the takedown. CACATb is fighting it off but Prokhorov persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in CACATb's guard against the cage.
