Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Achilles Peles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peles comes to the cage accompanied by 'Trapped Under Ice' by Metallica. The key to victory for Achilles Peles has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Achilles Peles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Demian Maia! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maia looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Maia advances to half guard. Peles wants to improve his position but Maia is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maia trying to control from half guard but Peles is working away. Maia is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Peles is just riding it out for now. Maia eventually gives up the hold. Peles is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peles trying to hold on to Maia's head to control him but Maia postures up.
Maia is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Peles trying to control here.
Maia is looking to advance position but Peles won't allow it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Maia shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Peles sprawls well. Peles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maia gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Maia. Achilles Peles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peles misses with an uppercut. Maia saw that one coming. Peles scores with the left hand. Maia knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Demian Maia has been cut. Peles thuds a left hand into Maia's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peles missing with a left hand there. Maia was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Peles thuds a left hand into Maia's body. Maia keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Peles. Maia takes one on the button. Peles ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maia moves away. Peles scores with a punch to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Achilles Peles dominated that round. The cut man is working on Demian Maia's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Peles with a hook. Peles misses with a takedown and Maia counters with a shoot takedown. Peles fights it but they end up in guard. Peles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Peles pulls Maia in close to his closed guard and prevents Maia from doing any damage or advancing position. Peles keeping moving, preventing Maia from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maia pushes down on Peles's leg and manages to get into half guard. Maia is trying to control the action in half guard but Peles is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peles regains full guard. Nicely done. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Peles is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peles trying to control the position from guard on top but Maia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peles tries to free his leg and advance position but Maia is retaining full guard. Maia being controlled here, momentarily. Maia is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peles is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Maia gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Peles drops down looking for an ankle pick but Maia pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Achilles Peles. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peles lands a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Peles throws a right hand that Maia ducks under and follows up with a left that Maia also avoids with ease. Peles will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Maia with a poor takedown and Peles counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Maia's guard now. Peles has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Maia looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Peles wants to control from the top but Maia keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Achilles Peles will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Demian Maia's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Peles comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Maia shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Peles working to try and regain half guard.

Maia is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Peles to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Peles shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maia looking to control but Peles is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Maia looking to ground and pound but Peles is blocking nicely. Maia controlling his opponent. Peles is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Maia thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Maia throws some wild stikes that Peles manages to avoid easily.
Peles tries to get back to half guard but can't. Maia swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Peles is now in Maia's guard. A big mistake from Maia there, giving up the dominant position! Peles looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Achilles Peles is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maia trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Maia keeping moving, preventing Peles from controlling successfully. Demian Maia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Maia pushes a forearm under Peles's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Peles is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
