Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Medina! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seyren Windsor! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Medina goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Medina shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Windsor sprawls well. Windsor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Medina gets slowly back to his feet. Windsor shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Medina manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Windsor wants to control from the top but Medina keeps moving. Windsor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Medina swivels though and keeps the full guard. Windsor is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Medina wants to sweep but no luck. Windsor stands and throws Medina's legs to the side, diving into side control. Windsor trying to control the action but Medina is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Windsor is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Windsor thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Medina is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Windsor's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Medina is looking to control Windsor's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Medina avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Windsor passes the guard and advances to mount! Medina tries to hold on but Windsor pushes him away. Medina knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Windsor on the ground. Windsor trying to control but Medina is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Windsor looking for a guillotine from mount but Medina is having none of it. Windsor prevents Medina from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Medina has given up his back here. Will Windsor look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Good control from Windsor. Medina defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Windsor's arms. Medina is trying to break free.

Windsor has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Medina! Can he survive? No! He's out! Windsor gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted.
