Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daddy Taxman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenjiro Takagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takagawa has chosen "Ready Steady Go" by L'Arc~en~Ciel as his entrance music. The key to victory for Daddy Taxman has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takagawa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Taxman.
Takagawa looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Takagawa decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Takagawa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Taxman keeps working.

Taxman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Takagawa is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Taxman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Takagawa's back instead.

Takagawa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Taxman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Takagawa somewhat.

Takagawa closes the distance and clinches up with Taxman, looking for a takedown. Takagawa pushes Taxman against the cage but Taxman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Takagawa seems to have recovered his senses.

Taxman has control of Takagawa's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Takagawa regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
