Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Lian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Lian! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Jones! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lian throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Lian finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lian trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jones's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones pulls Lian in close to his closed guard and prevents Lian from doing any damage or advancing position. Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lian moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. Lian misses with a straight right. Jones with a lazy takedown attempt and Lian counters with a nice body kick. Lian misses with the combination.
Lian fails with the takedown and Jones counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lian is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lian keeps working. Lian tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lian is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lian does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Lian is trying to stand back up but Jones is controlling him
Lian knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jones slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lian is trying to stand back up but Jones is controlling him
Jones uses his free foot to push down on Lian's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lian. Jones quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Jones but it's paid off an Lian is forced to tap! Nice work by Jones.
