Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dudley Balrog!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ming Tollie!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balrog is looking to clinch.
Balrog has closed the distance and engaged Tollie in a clinch.
Balrog is trying to break the clinch but Tollie is controlling him.
Balrog wants to get back to striking at distance but Tollie won't allow it.
Tollie keeps control of Balrog as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Tollie gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Tollie is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tollie tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Balrog pushes Tollie off and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A slow jab from Balrog misses its intended target.
Balrog will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tollie wants to clinch but Balrog slips to the side
enabling Balrog to counter with a crisp jab.
Tollie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Balrog scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Tollie is rocked!
Dudley Balrog is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Balrog wants to clinch
and Tollie counters with a single leg into guard. Balrog didn't expect that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tollie tries to free his leg and advance position but Balrog is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tollie stands up from Balrog's guard - Tollie perhaps looking for a knockout.
Balrog Rushes Tollie and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Tollie is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Balrog Piles on the pressure and Tollie crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
