Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aiden White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonny Kingston! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kingston. White gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kingston manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Kingston blocks an elbow strike from White.
White changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kingston fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kingston rushes White and presses him up against the cage. White lands a nice uppercut. Kingston is trying to break the clinch but White has him pressed against the cage. Kingston has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. White ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. White no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. White wants to stand up but Kingston is controlling him. White uses the cage to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. White tries to close the distance and clinch but Kingston swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kingston thumps White with a low kick. White throws a jab when Kingston was well out of range. White throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
White is breathing heavily. Kingston gets in close and instigates a clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for White. Kingston lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Aiden White has been cut. White is trying to break the clinch but Kingston has him pressed against the cage. Kingston jumps guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Kingston looking to sweep here. No luck so far. White decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kingston looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Kingston scoring with strikes to the body and head. Kingston wants to take a breather but White is having none of it. Kingston looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kingston wants to pass the guard but White is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White is staying active underneath Kingston, who seems content to just control the action from this position. White is trying to escape back to his feet but Kingston uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Kingston wants to lay and pray for a moment but White keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White is looking for a sweep. White can't do much from the bottom here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kingston closes this distance looking for a takedown but White circles away. White with a lazy takedown attempt and Kingston moves into the clinch.

Kingston looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Kingston has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but White can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. White with a flurry of punches that miss. White is looking to work some ground and pound but Kingston has wrist control. White throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. White throws a sloppy head kick and Kingston counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in White's guard now. Kingston prevents White from getting back to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. White tries to kick Kingston off but Kingston keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kingston scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

White pushes Kingston off looking to stand but Kingston dives back in and keeps control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kingston trying to stand up but can't free himself from White's guard. Kingston has gone for a leg lock! White slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kingston's guard. White with a nice head shot there. Kingston wants to sweep but no luck. White looking to control the position here, rather than advance. White stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Kingston is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kingston closes the distance and pushes White back into the cage. White breaks from the clinch.
White lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Kingston closes this distance looking for a takedown but White circles away. Kingston moves out of range as White strikes. White misses with the body kick and Kingston counters by moving into the clinch. Kingston jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as White walks away with a smile on his face. Kingston gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Aiden White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Kingston. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. White circles away from the clinch attempt and White cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. White has closed the distance and engaged Kingston in a clinch.

White moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kingston swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and White counters with a three punch combo that has Kingston backing up. Kingston nods at White to acknowledge the strikes. White lands a jab to the nose. Kingston shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. White stuffs the takedown. White wants to clinch but Kingston slips to the side and Kingston counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kingston. White tries to pull guard but Kingston won't allow it.

Kingston scores with a takedown into White's guard. Kingston stops White from standing up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. White scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Kingston shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with White but White pushes him off and we're back to square one. Aiden White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Kingston. White leaves Kingston with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Kingston looks like he's thinking about clinching though. White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
