The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera swinging wilding here.
Wolfe on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rivera. Rivera obviously looking to wear him down.
Rivera throws a right and a left that Wolfe avoids nicely.

Wolfe checks the leg kick.
Rivera swings away with a leg kick that misses.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wolfe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rivera.

Wolfe avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wolfe shoots in for a double leg but Rivera sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wolfe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rivera tries to avoid it but Wolfe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rivera to the ground. Rivera escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wolfe shoots in looking for a takedown. Rivera tries to sprawl out of it but Wolfe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rivera manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Rivera throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rivera, right into the meat.
Wolfe slips a jab and a cross from Rivera.

Rivera throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
