Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez has chosen Maino (Ft. T-Pain)- All The Above as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luis Gonzalez! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Finch shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gonzalez pinned against the cage. Gonzalez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Finch moves into range and clinches up with Gonzalez. Finch has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gonzalez uses from the top position. Finch keeping full guard, as Gonzalez tries to pass. Gonzalez wants to get up but he can't break Finch's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gonzalez wants to get up but he can't break Finch's closed guard. Finch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gonzalez manages to avoid it. Ryan Finch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gonzalez tries to clinch but Finch moves out of range. Finch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gonzalez moves away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Gonzalez letting Finch take a breather here. Finch tries to score a body lock takedown but Gonzalez shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Finch jumps into guard, dragging Gonzalez to the mat.

Finch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Finch keeping full guard, as Gonzalez tries to pass. Finch is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Gonzalez has had enough of the clinch but Finch keeps him there for the moment. Gonzalez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Finch decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gonzalez to his feet. Horrible takedown by Gonzalez or perhaps it was just good defense by Finch which made him look bad. Gonzalez tries to clinch but fails miserably and Finch makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Gonzalez really felt that one!

Gonzalez is trying to get back to full guard. Finch stalling. Finch frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. A nice elbow there by Finch. Finch working for a guillotine from mount but Gonzalez is in no mood to give up. Finch is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Finch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gonzalez swats him away and circles back towards the center. No luck for Finch with that takedown attempt. Gonzalez is looking to clinch.

Gonzalez wants to get back to his feet but Finch is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gonzalez is looking to stand back up but Finch counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gonzalez. A lull in the action here. Finch stands up. Finch has taken the fight to the clinch.

Gonzalez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gonzalez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice sprawl there from Gonzalez as Finch shoots in. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gonzalez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gonzalez stuffs the takedown attempt from Finch. Finch gets slowly back to his feet. Finch shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Finch was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gonzalez really wants to buck Finch off and get back to his feet. Gonzalez keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Gonzalez wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Gonzalez is really stuck here.

Gonzalez has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Finch has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Gonzalez taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Finch doesn't care though - he's delighted!
