The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jacobs gets slowly back to his feet.
Phil Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
