Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Himura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent Bone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yoshi Himura! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Himura gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bone to score an easy takedown into full guard. Himura looking for a sweep. Not yet Himura, not yet. Bone with a flurry of punches that miss. Bone thows a big elbow that misses. Bone has gone for a leg lock! Himura slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bone's guard. Bone is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Himura throwing strikes but missing. Bone is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Himura loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Himura postures up.
Himura trying to control but Bone is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Himura throws and elbow that misses. Bone uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Himura's guard. Nice move by Bone! Bone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Himura swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bone trying to control the position from guard on top but Himura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bone wants to pass the guard but Himura is keeping the position. Bone trying to control but Himura is working from the bottom. Bone is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Himura wants to clinch. Bone gets a takedown into half guard. Bone wants to stand but Himura has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Bone thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Himura looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Himura is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bone's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bone's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Himura missing with strikes from the back. Even with his hooks in, Himura manages to miss with strikes from the back. Himura is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Bone is trying to get back to his feet but Himura has full control of the position and if anything, Bone has just worked his way into a worse spot. Bone trying to control the hands but Himura won't let him. Bone is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Himura is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Bone has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bone preventing the sweep. Bone is stalling in the full guard. Bone thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Himura is trying to control the position but Bone postures up. Bone is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Himura is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Himura has escaped and now he's on top! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Himura misses with a takedown and Bone counters with a takedown into side control. Bone is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Himura knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Himura keeps working. Bone goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Himura has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bone but great work by Himura. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Himura trying to control the action but Bone is working from the bottom. Bone wants to control but Himura postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bone managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Himura.
Bone manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Himura working over Bone with some ground and pound. Bone looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bone actively working from the bottom here. Himura seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bone looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bone leaves Himura with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Himura fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Vincent Bone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshi Himura. Bone gets the takedown into side control. Bone trying to control the position but Himura is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Himura is trying to get back to his feet. Bone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Himura tries to buck Bone off but Bone is having none of it. Bone tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bone has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Himura is looking to regain half guard here but Bone keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bone is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Himura has escaped the position, nice work there. Bone goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Himura rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bone's guard! Nice work there by Himura! Himura postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Himura doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Himura manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bone is looking for a triangle but Himura pushes his legs off easily.
Bone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bone is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Bone prevents the takedown attempt.
Bone manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bone working for a triangle but Himura defends it easily.
Himura got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Himura has managed to get both his arms back between Bone's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincent Bone dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Himura tries to clinch but Bone moves out of range. Bone shoots in and bounces Himura off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bone looking to sit in guard and control but Himura gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bone avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Vincent Bone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Himura working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bone's head. Bone looking for subs off his back but Himura has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Himura lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Himura seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Himura is working for a kimura but Bone is defending it quite comfortably.
Bone is concentrating on defense, preventing Himura from advancing position. The fighters are battling for position here. Bone manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bone had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Himura is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bone Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Himura's back instead. Bone seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Himura's chin but Himura turns very nicely into Bone's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Himura.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Himura can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bone has Himura pulled in close to control his posture.

Yoshi Himura has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Vincent Bone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bone controls from within his opponent's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Vincent Bone showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
