Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javi Sevilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Woods! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods misses with a body shot.
Sevilla tries for a takedown but Woods sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sevilla is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Woods. Jab by Woods.
It looks like Javi Sevilla has been cut. Horrible takedown by Sevilla or perhaps it was just good defense by Woods which made him look bad. Woods scores with a takedown into Sevilla's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sevilla has a closed guard, preventing Woods from standing up. Ross Woods has got the better of the ground game so far. Woods is squirming around, avoiding Sevilla's attempts to control the action. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woods is trying to stand. Sevilla trying to control but he's not successful this time. Sevilla wants to control the action but instead Woods gets a body lock and reverses into Sevilla's guard! Nice work! Woods with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Woods gets to his feet - Sevilla follows without any prompting. No joy there for Woods, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Woods closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sevilla did well to prevent Woods getting side control. Woods is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Sevilla as he works his way to full guard.

Woods looks up at the clock and then as Sevilla takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Woods smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sevilla wants to control but Woods postures up. Woods decides to take the fight back to the feet. Woods fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sevilla avoids it really well and circles away. Sevilla closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Woods to the mat! Woods manages to get full guard. Sevilla wants to pass the guard but Woods is keeping the position.

Sevilla trying to control but Woods is working from the bottom. Sevilla looking to sit in guard and control but Woods gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Woods stands and steps away. Sevilla gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Woods swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sevilla. Woods thuds his right hand into Sevilla's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. An inside leg kick lands from Woods. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sevilla has escaped and now he's on top! Sevilla tries to free his leg and advance position but Woods is retaining full guard. Sevilla trying to control but Woods is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sevilla throws a strike but Woods rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sevilla looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Woods scoring with some ground and pound. Woods stands up over Sevilla, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Woods distracts Sevilla with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Woods stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sevilla swivels though and keeps the full guard. Woods scoring with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Woods is looking to stand up but Sevilla won't let him. Woods drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sevilla manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Woods has Sevilla in his guard. Sevilla won't allow Woods to get back to his feet. Sevilla stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Woods swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sevilla wants to control from the top but Woods keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Ross Woods comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Woods has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
