Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cross Lavi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcus Houston! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lavi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Houston but Houston pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lavi shoots in and drives through. Houston sprawls well. Lavi just misses with a punch to the body.
Houston misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Houston with a lazy takedown attempt and Lavi counters with a shoot takedown. Houston fights it but they end up in guard. Houston is looking to stand up but Lavi isn't so interested in that idea. Lavi wants to control from the top but Houston keeps moving. No, Lavi has managed to free his arm - good work. Houston is looking to take a break and control but Lavi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Houston connects with a couple of short punches. Houston passes easily into side control. Nice work. Houston lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lavi down.

Houston passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lavi! Lavi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Houston with good strikes from the mount here! Houston is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lavi is surviving well by controlling Houston's body position as best he can. Houston lands a big shot there that rocks Lavi but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
