Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Byron Banky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Allan McCracken! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banky tries to clinch but McCracken is having none of it. Banky instigates a clinch. Banky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Banky keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Banky clinches up with McCracken and pushes him back against the cage. McCracken misses with a knee strike.
McCracken can't find room to land a body shot as Banky controls the action.
McCracken changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Banky fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Banky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McCracken throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McCracken doesn't manage to clinch there - Banky circles away.

Banky shoots in and bounces McCracken off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. McCracken is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Banky is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCracken wants to sweep but no luck. Banky has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Banky is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Banky has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McCracken is proving hard to escape from. McCracken wants to stand up but Banky is controlling him. Banky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McCracken on the ground. Banky stands up from McCracken's guard - Banky perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Banky looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for McCracken! Banky looking to control and managing it successfully. McCracken is trying desperately to improve position. McCracken looks gassed! Banky controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Banky tries to control but McCracken wriggling away.

Banky has a closed guard, preventing McCracken from standing up. Banky has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McCracken can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Banky looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Banky misses with a takedown and McCracken holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. McCracken is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Banky pulls him back up using the underhooks. Banky manages to break the clinch.
McCracken has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Allan McCracken has been cut. Byron Banky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McCracken gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Banky counters into the clinch. Nicely done. McCracken wants to get back to striking at distance but Banky won't allow it.
Banky has dropped down and is working for a takedown. McCracken is trying to keep an underhook but Banky manages to get the takedown into half guard. McCracken is trying to stand up here but Banky is controlling him well. Banky seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. McCracken takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. McCracken is bucking up trying to escape but Banky cracks him with another couple of good strikes. McCracken looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Banky has the hooks in. McCracken is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Banky lands punches and elbows. McCracken trying to get back to his feet but Banky is in full control for now. Banky controlling the position well here. McCracken rolled but Banky kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Banky trying to control the position from guard on top but McCracken is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McCracken is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Banky is stalling in the full guard. Banky wants to control from the top but McCracken keeps moving. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Banky misses with a few strikes there.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Banky gets in close and instigates a clinch. Banky is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Banky breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Allan McCracken has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Byron Banky is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Banky throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Banky throws a right and a left that McCracken avoids nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Byron Banky showed his dominance in that final round. Well Banky has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
