Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grizzly Gulag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Quinn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Blood of Cuchulainn. Gulag is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by без души. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Grizzly Gulag!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn misses with an uppercut.
Gulag doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gulag throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Gulag delivers a nice body kick.
Quinn moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Quinn throws a hook to the side of Gulag's head but Gulag sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gulag turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gulag throws a head kick but Quinn moves out of range.
Quinn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gulag has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gulag shoots in for a double leg but Quinn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Grizzly Gulag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quinn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gulag manages to get himself to full guard.
